堂堂邁入第十一屆的東森新人王，歷年來培育出眾多演藝新秀發光發熱。尤其對許多移居美國的華裔家庭，已成為親子互動擁有相同話題的最佳媒介。換言之，東森新人王已超越單純的選秀造星電視節目，更是華裔社區全家關注的年度盛事。

東森新人王也邀請到網羅周杰倫、楊丞琳等天王天后的亞洲知名唱片公司，索尼音樂(中國)合作，選拔下一位歌壇巨星！讓今年參加新人王的年輕朋友們，擁有簽約的機會，並朝歌手藝人的目標邁進！

ETTV America has been affiliated with the local communities for the past 10 years. Not only have we brought the latest news coverage, we have held meaningful community events focused on promoting cultural understanding and family entertainment. The annual Top Idol event, a talent search contest, is one of our most reputable events. We have had people coming from across the United States and overseas to participate in Top Idol since its debut in 2003. Focusing on the making of a “Top Idol” this year, the televised sensation aims to attract more fantastic talents; and create even bigger reaction from the communities than ever before!

ETTV TOP IDOL is pleased to enter its 11th year in 2013. It has been devoted to provide an open stage for potential talents to shine since 2003. To Chinese American families, it has also served as the best medium on creating mutual topics for parent-child interaction opportunities. In other words, ETTV TOP IDOL is not merely a TV broadcasting talent search event, it has become the cultural phenomenon each year that attracts families’ focus in Chinese American communities.
